A visit to the Conn Creek AVA Room is a tasting tour of Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, all in one stop, from Carneros to Calistoga.
The two-hour seminar is offered twice daily by appointment only and available for up to 10 guests.

The AVA Room Barrel Blending Experience provides guests a rare opportunity to learn about, taste, and blend wines from the many distinctive regions that make up Napa Valley — one of the most famous and diverse wine growing regions in the world. Better yet, we invite you to play winemaker for a day and take home the fruit of your labors — literally.

My husband Steve and I had the BEST time at the AVA Barrel Blending! I really wanted to do it, but was a little nervous waiting for our turn because I don't know a great deal about wines and blendings. However, no worries! Our hostest was super nice, and Conn Creek has the blending room full of great descriptions. They have an awesome booklet in which you take notes, and our hostess helped us out as much as we needed, and left us alone to experiment. The "perfect blend" of education! We had so much fun naming our wines. It was hard to pop the cork once we got home....didn't want my wine to go away! But, it was REALLY awesome, and we can't wait to do it again. The AVA will be a stop each time we visit Napa! It is the coolest thing you can do there!
