2006 Stanton Vineyard, Oakville AVA Cabernet Sauvignon
“A wonderfully rich, complex nose of cherry, subtle oak and spice leads to a textured, layered palate with similar flavors that are enveloped in velvety tannins. The finish is remarkably long and satisfying. This wine has tremendous aging potential, with the balance, finesse, structure and acidity to last for a decade or more.” – Mike McGrath, Winemaker
MORE ABOUT THIS WINE

- Blend: 100% Cabernet Sauvignon
- Vineyards: The Stanton family has grown grapes in the Oakville AVA since 1947. This valley floor vineyard has gravelly, sandy clay and loam soils deposited from the nearby Mayacamas Mountains. The climate is moderately warm, with summer daytime temperatures in the mid-90s and cooling evening fog that refreshes the vines and allows the grapes to retain their natural acidity. The result is wines of rich suppleness and texture.
