2003 Anthology
“Densely concentrated aromas of plums, black cherries, oak bark and cinnamon toast are nicely displayed in an elegant oak framework. Supple, black fruit flavors crest to blackberries, then ebb to a rich lingering finish. Enjoyable now, will age best over the next 4-6 years.” – Mike McGrath, Winemaker

- Vineyards: The unpredictable 2003 growing season started with a series of early heat spikes in March, followed by the wettest April on record. A long, cool summer season allowed the fruit flavors to evolve beautifully ahead of schedule, and grapes showed outstanding balance. Heat spikes in September accelerated maturity development and moved harvest forward. Despite the unusual growing season, the 2003 harvest produced a vintage of high quality, great color concentration and intense flavors.
