- Vineyards: Dr. Tony Truchard and his wife Joanne farm this family vineyard in the Los Carneros AVA in the most southern part of Napa Valley. This block-selected Cabernet Sauvignon is produced in a microclimate known for marine and fog influences from the San Pablo Bay, and for abundant clay-type soils. Because of the relatively cooler growing region, this AVA tends to produce wines with characters of sage and garden herbs, with bright, acid-toned structures.
