The wine opens with intense aromas of ripe blackberry, boysenberry and spiced plum. The midpalate continues with fragrant briar patch blackberries and rich, supple and coating tannins with a touch of minerality on the lingering finish.
The wine was aged for 19 months in 86% new French oak barrels.
75% of this wine was whole berry barrel fermented with the balance in tank.
